Household | Pet Supplies

The Cat’s Meow in home pet sitting service prefers that our clients leave enough pet supplies (i.e. food, litter, treats), however, we don’t mind “running to the store” if you don’t mind the additional charge for cost, time, and mileage.
If you change the location of supplies, please inform me prior to visit, or with a note. Hidden leashes, insufficient litter, pet food, or even paper towels creates a hardship. Supplies should always be easily accessible.

Emergency Contact Information

It is absolutely required that you fill out the sheet below with all of the necessary contact information at the time of your interview or when calling to reserve your services. If information is not given and we have to order the service of a locksmith, you will be responsible for the entire bill.

Natural Disasters, Illness or Emergency

The Cat’s Meow in home pet sitting STRONGLY ADVISES you to give a house key to a nearby neighbor in the event that your pet sitter cannot get to your home due to closed roads (i.e., fire, flooding, snow, etc.). Additionally, in the event of a natural disaster, The Cat’s Meow will do more than our best to procure your animal's safety and secure your home. The Cat’s Meow is authorized to seek emergency veterinarian assistance if needed during the service visit, at the cost of the client, a veterinarian clinic chosen by the client, unless the chosen veterinarian clinic is closed, in which case The Cat’s Meow will choose the nearest Veterinarian/emergency clinic.

Key Pick-up and Return

NO EXCEPTIONS – The Cat’s Meow in home pet sitting will NOT pick up or leave keys “under the mat” or the like, and we will NOT lock the keys in the house on the last day. This is to protect your home and animals welfare. We suggest that you let The Cat’s Meow retain your key for future service.
Many of our clients enjoy the comfort of knowing that if something (i.e., working late and you can’t get to the animal's, iron or stove left on, etc.) does come up, your pet sitter has a key and will be more than happy to help you out in a pinch.
